About Brekfuz

Built by engineers who watched critical knowledge walk out the door

Brekfuz is an AI knowledge intelligence platform for enterprise teams. We started in Bengaluru in 2024 and are backed by angel investors.

Our story

Why we started Brekfuz

Arhan Singhal spent years building infrastructure teams at enterprise software companies. In that time, he watched three different senior engineers leave and each time the same thing happened: weeks of scrambled knowledge capture, blockers in production, and months of tribal knowledge loss that documentation alone could not fix.

The problem was not that teams did not try to document things. They did. The problem was that they did not know what they needed to document until something broke. By then it was too late.

Priya Nair, who had been building large-scale graph data systems, joined as co-founder to solve the technical core: how do you build a live, updating graph of who knows what, derived from the communication and work patterns teams leave behind in their everyday tools?

Together they co-founded Brekfuz in 2024 with a straightforward thesis: make the invisible knowledge structure of a team visible before anyone leaves, before any project stalls, before any onboarding takes months longer than it should.

How we operate

What we believe about knowledge work

01

Explicit documentation is not the answer

Teams cannot document their way to knowledge resilience. By the time someone writes down what they know, the context is already months out of date. Real knowledge graphs are built from the live signals in your tools.

02

Risk appears before crisis, if you look

Every single-person dependency has a signal trail weeks before it becomes a blocker. Brekfuz surfaces those signals so teams can act before they are in scramble mode.

03

Onboarding is a graph traversal problem

New hires do not need a 200-page wiki. They need a personalized path through the knowledge graph that matches their role and starting gaps. That path should be generated, not curated manually.

04

Enterprise teams deserve the same tooling as the data they run on

Graph technology has powered data infrastructure for a decade. It was never applied to organizational knowledge in the same way. That is the gap Brekfuz was built to close.
